The idea behind The Sort StationOur story
Two professionals. One shared belief in calmer spaces.
The idea for The Sort Station began while one of our founders was working as a certified real estate appraiser. Visiting homes across the area revealed a need that traditional staging did not always address: many families needed practical, hands-on help to declutter and organize the way they actually live.
Her business partner, a certified teacher, saw the same challenge in a different setting—from crowded classrooms to overstuffed backpacks. Together, they recognized how much a clear environment can support focus, confidence, and peace of mind.
They created The Sort Station to offer kind, capable, and approachable support for homes and small businesses in Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding communities.

Is professional organizing expensive?
It does not have to be. We can focus on one high-priority space, work in phases, and use containers or furniture you already own. Your free consultation helps us recommend an approach that fits your needs and budget.
Is my project too small?
No. A single closet, pantry, desk, stockroom, or small-business workspace can make a meaningful difference. No home project or business is too small to ask about.
Do I need to clean before you arrive?
No. Please do not feel you need to prepare the space for us. Seeing it as you normally use it helps us understand what is and is not working.
Will you make me throw things away?
